Maysie von Mayen is a beautiful 18mo-2yr old German Shepherd mix. After raising 12 puppies, she is done with her "mommy duties" and now it's time for her to find her forever home where she will be cherished for the a-may-sing dog that she is! This medium to large girl is housebroken with or without a doggy door, gets along very well with both the big and small dogs in her foster home and even the cats! Maysie is extremely loving, gentle and very well behaved. Of medium energy and very easy on leash, she would be happy going for walks or hikes and being just as content laying at your feet, or on the couch next to you so she can get a little cuddle time. Maysie has the silliest smile and when she is happy, her whole body wags! She would be happy in a home with another dog or without. As long as she can follow her person around all day, she will be happy. Maysie has been described by volunteers at the rescue as "one of those special dogs". Her foster family says she is one of the best fosters they've ever had and certainly the silliest. She would make an adopter very happy with her love, good manners and gentle nature!
